Textron Aviation has delivered the 2,000th aircraft from the Cessna CJ family of light jets. The Citation CJ3+ was delivered to long-time customer Marc Dulude. The CJ family has accumulated nearly five million flight hours. Current models include the Citation M2, Citation CJ3+ and Citation CJ4.
“Textron Aviation has been a trusted partner throughout my ownership experience, which made staying in the family an easy choice,” said Dulude. “The CJ3+ has the range, speed and performance I was looking for, and was a natural transition for me from my M2. I’m excited to be a part of this milestone and look forward to continuing a strong relationship with the company.”
Dulude’s first Citation was Mustang, and he later bought a Citation M2. He serves on the board of directors for the Citation Jet Pilots Association.
The single-pilot Citation CJ3+ seats nine passengers, with capacity for 1,000 lb of baggage and a range of 2,040 nautical miles. The aircraft also offers internet capabilities.
