Improved cabin soundproofing is one of the updates Bombardier is making on its super mid-size Challenger 350 in 2019. The company says the technology reduces cabin noise by an extra 1-2dB SIL, making the aircraft as much as 4-5dB SIL quieter than previous models in the Challenger 300 series.
Other upcoming enhancements include a performance improvement package that is particularly effective for short runways, available compact Head-up Display and Enhanced Vision System, along with improved cockpit aesthetics.
“The new offerings we have introduced on the Challenger 350 aircraft clearly reflect our longstanding commitment to continually innovate and boost the performance of the industry’s best-selling business jet,” said David Coleal, president, Bombardier Aviation. “With its unmatched reliability and economics, unrivalled cabin comfort and ultra-smooth ride, the Challenger 350 aircraft offers customers an unbeatable value proposition. With these enhancements in place, we are confident that the Challenger 350 business jet will continue to be the leading choice of knowledgeable and experienced operators around the globe for years to come.”
The performance improvement package allows the Challenger 350 to fly up to 1,500 nautical miles further out of short runways and enables operation at Santa Monica airport.
