Merritt ‘Keith’ Thogmartin has joined the quality control team at Spirit Aeronautics. Thogmartin began his aviation career as an aircraft technician for Sprite-Flight Jets, and has also served as director of maintenance at Corporate Wings, vice president of technical services at Business Aircraft Group and director of maintenance at Capital City Jet Center.
Over the course of his 35 years in aviation, Thogmartin’s training has included FlightSafety Maintenance Initial courses on Citation 550, Citation 650 and Citation 525C series aircraft; Williams FJ44 engine line maintenance; and EMB-120 maintenance courses. Thogmartin is a graduate of Columbus Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in applied science and holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with his Inspection Authorization endorsement.
