Aeria Luxury Interiors (Aeria) has been incorporated as a subsidiary by VT San Antonio Aerospace (VT SAA), a move designed to enable it to focus fully on the VIP completion and refurbishment market. Aeria will now operate under its own FAA Part 145 Repair Station certificate rather than that of its parent company, which it says will streamline its processes.
The facility is in San Antonio, Texas, and specializes in Airbus and Boeing types. It has completed 20 VIP aircraft projects – a mix of cabin refurbishment, heavy maintenance and avionic work – since 2012.
A recent 14,000ft² expansion involved the addition of a new cabinet and upholstery shop, and another building dedicated to design, sales and marketing.
