AMAC Aerospace has signed its first full BBJ Max 9 completion contract.
The aircraft is due at the company’s facility Basel, Switzerland, in 2020. A “very special and unique cabin interior” has been designed for the aircraft by Gaugain.
AMAC has completed several completions projects since 2010, and its teams are looking forward to this challenging new project for 2019/2020.
“We are very pleased to open our hangar doors for our first BBJ Max 9 completion project,” said Bernd Schramm, group chief operating officer.
“We are proud of our teams which have already started on the design package and the mockup for this project and we are looking forward to 2020 to start the new challenge.”
