Avant Aerospace, which was acquired by West Star Aviation in 2017, has moved its offices and complete inventory from Dallas, Texas, to East Alton, Illinois. It now has 20,000ft² (1,858m²) of hangar space at St. Louis Downtown Airport, close to West Star Aviation’s full-service MRO at St. Louis Regional Airport.
“Relocating and being closer to the East Alton MRO will centralise our inventory, thus reducing delivery time and shipping expense,” said John Hardy, director at Avant Aerospace.
Avant Aerospace supplies aircraft parts, spares, equipment and tooling, also offering procurement, inventory consignment/purchasing and 24/7 AOG services. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of West Star Aviation, continuing to operate under its own brand while offering West Star Aviation customers its part products and full capabilities. Avant has expanded its inventory/support beyond Dassault Falcon types to include Bombardier, Textron, Piaggio and Gulfstream models. All part and equipment repairs are completed by OEMs or authorised repair agents.
