A wi-fi STC has been awarded to Comlux Completion for the Bombardier CL300 series aircraft’s Gogo Avance L5 system.
Gogo Avance provides 4G inflight connectivity, with video and audio streaming, Gogo Vision on-demand movies and Gogo Talk and Text.
“Comlux has accomplished two installations and activations for the Gogo WLAN system installation and we expect interest to continue to grow,” said Scott Meyer, CEO of Comlux Completion.
“The STC is currently for the Challenger 300 series aircraft and we also plan to add the Global XRS very soon for business booked that brings us aircraft inductions later this year. Comlux has been a Bombardier authorized service facility for both Challenger and Global Aircraft since 2009, this brings more opportunity for our clients to leverage their maintenance event to ensure all their operational needs are met.
“The client experience is in the cabin and with our fully integrated production and engineering departments we can refresh or modernize any of the cabin systems or furnishings to extend the life of the asset.”
