Rick Armstrong has joined Dallas Aeronautical Services (DAS) as director of technical sales. Having started his aviation career as a technician in 1986, Armstrong has accumulated more than 30 years of experience, in areas including component overhaul and composite/sheet metal repair and manufacturing, and has held leadership roles at Aerocell Structures and Aero Fabricators.
DAS, an FAA Part 145 repair station, overhauls and repairs composites, structures and assemblies. Its specialties include thrust reversers, control surfaces, engine cowls, pylon and floor panels, and radome repair and testing.
