Embraer Executive Jets is to open a new maintenance service center at Le Bourget Airport in Paris, France, in the second half of 2016. The new 4,000m² company-owned service center is twice as large as the current facility at Le Bourget, which was established in 2008. The facility will offer routine checks and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for Embraer’s entire business jet portfolio and will be located 20 minutes from downtown Paris.
“We are continuously expanding our customer support and service infrastructure in anticipation of our fleet growth,” said Marco Túlio Pellegrini, president and CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “As the main hub for business aviation in Europe, Le Bourget is the base of our support operations in the region and plays a key role in our expansion strategy.”
“This new location, which doubles the existing facility operated by Embraer at Paris-Le Bourget, will lay a major milestone of the Aeronautical Excellence Cluster of the metropolitan Grand Paris Project,” said Aéroports de Paris’s Le Bourget managing director, François Charritat.
