West Star Aviation is adding a 64,200ft² hangar, office and shop facility to its site in East Alton, Illinois. The hangar will accommodate aircraft the size of the Gulfstream G650 or Embraer Legacy 650 for maintenance.
Building work is due to begin in the fourth quarter of 2017, and be completed in the second to mid-third quarter of 2018. The campus will then include 10 buildings, spanning more than 387,000ft² of office, shop and hangar space and more than 200,000ft² of ramp space.
