Jets MRO, a business jet maintenance provider at Dallas Executive Airport in Texas, has been granted FAA Part 145 Engine ratings, expanding the company’s capabilities beyond its existing Part 145 repair station authorisations.
This new engine certification enables Jets MRO to perform comprehensive engine maintenance and repair services in-house at its Dallas facility. The approval covers powerplants for Citation, Hawker, Learjet, Challenger 300 and 600 series, and BeechJet aircraft.
“This engine certification represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy,” said Suresh V Narayanan, CEO of Jets MRO. “We can now provide our customers with truly comprehensive maintenance solutions, eliminating the need to outsource engine work and reducing aircraft downtime substantially.”
The engine certification comes three months after the company received its initial FAA Part 145 certification in January 2025.
In addition to on-site engine services, Jets MRO’s mobile maintenance capabilities now include engine diagnostic and limited repair services throughout the Dallas-Fort-Worth area, providing support for AOG situations.
Jets MRO’s private jet maintenance business is open seven days a week for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance needs on jet aircraft in Dallas. Jets MRO also operates a full FAA/EASA component repair station in Miami, Florida.
