PATS Aircraft Systems has received the Diamond Award of Excellence from the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) for the fifth consecutive year. The award is recognition of PATS’ commitment to aviation safety through maintenance technician training.
The award requires 100% participation from all eligible employees. Each individual enrolled in the FAA’s Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program and was required to complete established levels of recurrent and new training as part of PATS’ ongoing training regimen.
To celebrate, PATS is hosting a celebratory luncheon for its entire staff of more than 300 employees, plus guests including local and state politicians, and the FAA Flight Standards District Office. “Our dedicated employees are highly skilled and exceptionally trained year-in and year-out to provide our customers with the highest quality service with uncompromising dedication to safety and accountability,” said PATS’ president and CEO, John Martin.
PATS Aircraft Systems’ campus in Georgetown, Delaware, USA, includes its FAA Part 145 Repair Station, STC and PMA ODA and aircraft systems manufacturing. PATS is a Boeing-authorized BBJ service center offering interior completions, maintenance, modifications and auxiliary fuel tank installations. PATS’ ODA and engineering services are also available to support design and certification requirements of each in‐house project or additional project work on behalf of customers.
