Looking to further strengthen its standing in Europe and expand its services, F/List is taking over the operations of OHS Aviation Services. As well as OHS’s main site at Berlin Schönefeld Airport, the move includes subsidiaries in Stuttgart and Wildau (Brandenburg) in Germany, and Basel in Switzerland. These facilities will be run by F/List Germany, a newly founded 100% subsidiary of F/List. All 31 OHS employees will be retained, with this number expected to rise in the coming years.
F/List is headquartered in Thomasberg, Austria, and specializes in the manufacture of interiors for business and private jets, yachts and luxury residences. OHS’s maintenance capabilities – which include interior and exterior aircraft cleaning, seat repairs, re-upholstery and partial exterior paint work – will be added to F/List’s service offering through the newly acquired EASA Part 145 certification. In addition, the acquisition of EASA Part 21J DOA certification will enable F/List Germany to design and clear plans for interior components without engaging in feedback loops with airframe manufacturers. The acquired certifications will benefit all of F/List’s locations.
The company also believes cooperation with distribution partner LBAS and having a strong hub in Berlin will benefit Inairvation, a joint venture with Lufthansa Technik that specializes in integrated cabin solutions.
“Extensive” investments are planned for all the acquired locations, especially in terms of IT infrastructure, machinery and equipment.
