Four operators in Indonesia have chosen ExecuJet MRO Services Australia for Embraer Executive Jet projects.
The contracts with the four Indonesian operators cover a total of five Embraer Legacy aircraft and include either airframe heavy maintenance checks, avionics upgrades or both. ExecuJet MRO Services Australia is already certified by Indonesia’s Directorate General Civil Aviation to do maintenance on Indonesian registered aircraft.
“Indonesia has always been a key market for us and our sales and customer service personnel have always made an effort to engage with and develop the relationship with Indonesian aircraft owners and operators,” said Grant Ingall, regional VP Australasia at ExecuJet MRO Services, adding that the company has some staff who are fluent in Bahasa.
ExecuJet has been an authorised Embraer service centre since 2010. The Australian MRO company is authorised to process Embraer Executive Care and Warranty claims for spare parts and labour directly with Embraer.
“Quality workmanship and customer service is the core of our business and we have invested heavily over the years in tooling and training for the Embraer range of business jets,” said Ingall. “Our experienced team, in Sydney and Melbourne, have a long track record of performing the heaviest 12-yearly interval inspections and landing gear overhaul projects, under a number of airworthiness authority approvals for the Embraer Legacy family.”
The first aircraft, an Indonesian-registered Legacy 600, arrived in Australia in January 2023 for a 48-month check.
