RUAG Aviation’s facility in Bern-Belp, Switzerland, has completed phase four and phase six heavy maintenance checks on a Dornier 328. The four-week project also included a landing gear refurbishment at RUAG’s component shop in Interlaken, Switzerland. The contract was awarded by ExecuJet South Africa on behalf of the Botswana Defence Force.
“RUAG continues to prove its reputation for overwhelming experience in all aspects of Dornier 328 MRO, as well as for reliable scheduling conditions,” said Shane Hayward, general manager, commercial, ExecuJet South Africa. “The guaranteed, four-week turnaround time was a crucial aspect of this heavy maintenance check – one we knew we could entrust to RUAG.”
