Gal Aerospace is to collaborate with Bombardier to provide cabin interior aftermarket support for the CRJ series fleet, and specifically the new CRJ550. The agreement covers the development and retrofit of cabin interiors.
“In support of the CRJ550, Gal has demonstrated the ability to rapidly respond to the needs of our operators with innovative solutions,” said Ismail Mokabel, vice president and head of aftermarket for Bombardier Commercial Aircraft.
“Such nimbleness and agility provide our large CRJ series installed base complementary solutions aligned with lifecycle needs in aftermarket.”
“The great success of the Bombardier CRJ series family of aircraft has created opportunities for the modification and upgrade of in-service cabin interiors and GAL is fully engaged in fulfilling this niche demand,” said Jonathan Cornwell, vice president of business development and sales for Gal Aerospace.
“The support from Bombardier will further enhance our ability to develop and deliver innovative solutions for the CRJ series aircraft,” said Glen Lynch, president and CEO at Gal Aerospace.
