A memorandum of understanding has been signed by Greenline Interiors and Finaero that paves the way for the companies to develop aircraft interior refurbishment, design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities in the Middle East.
Finaero Group announced in November 2015 that its paint services division, STTS, was embarking on a US$34m project at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The project involves the establishment of a new wide-body paint bay, which is set to enter operation in late 2018. Greenline Interiors and Finaero have decided to develop the site further to offer aircraft interior services.
Finaero’s Aircraft Interior Products (AIP) division and Greenline Interiors’ Aviation Interior division both have expertise in airline, corporate and VIP cabin refurbishment.
AIP has delivered cabin interiors for aircraft ranging from Dassault jets to the Boeing 777. The company specializes in engineering and manufacturing complete work packages – for example, washrooms, bedrooms and galleys. Its expertise includes the production of honeycomb panels; the integration of mechanical, electrical, water and air systems; and VIP wood veneer and upholstery work.
Greenline Interiors provides interior outfitting services for palaces and other high-end residences, super yachts, commercial spaces and five-to-seven star hotels. The company is headquartered at Jebel Ali, Dubai, has more than 35 years of experience, and has a skilled workforce of engineers and craftsmen.
“Our group’s vision is to offer customers proximity and quality,” said Christophe Cador, president of Finaero. “With Greenline Interiors we are confident our customers will benefit from the creativity, service and quality the Middle Eastern region requires.”
“We are thrilled to enter into this new adventure that will further diversify the services already offered by Greenline,” said Samir Badro, chairman and CEO of Greenline Interiors. “We believe that the partnership with Finaero will allow strategic synergies to cater [for] all the high demanding requirements of our clientele.”
