Maintenance and interior solutions provider JetMS Holdings is continuing its business expansion after the recent launch of a new hangar space in Kaunas, Lithuania. The company’s subsidiary JetMS Regional (JetMS) will increase maintenance capabilities to offer more services based on clients’ needs, from November 2023.
JetMS has been operating a part of an existing Vilnius hangar for regional and business jet MRO activities, utilising Part 145 licenses for Bombardier Challenger, CRJ, Global, Hawker Beechcraft, Embraer Legacy and Embraer ERJ aircraft types, and selling approximately 5,000 man-hours monthly.
“Our expansion is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing high-quality maintenance services,” said Vytis Zalimas, CEO, JetMS Regional. “This strategic move will double our capacity from the current JetMS VNO hangar, allowing us to sell approximately 100,000 man-hours per year. By doing so, we can serve a larger client base and offer more comprehensive maintenance solutions. These efforts further strengthen our position as a leading player in the aviation industry.”
JetMS not only considers expanding its service capabilities by adding new aircraft types to its portfolio but also plans to grow its team to help meet upcoming needs. The company is committed to hiring more engineers, mechanics and managers dedicated to procurement, logistics and other supply chain-related positions.
JetMS Regional is part of the Avia Solutions Group family, an aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) provider, with a fleet of 173 aircraft. The group also provides a range of aviation services, including MRO, pilot and crew training, ground handling, and associated services.
