Jet Support Services (JSSI) and Constant Aviation have teamed up to enable JSSI Airframe Program clients to meet the FAA’s January 1, 2020, deadline for equipping aircraft with ADS-B avionics. “Constant has reserved a dedicated line specifically for JSSI clients looking to complete this upgrade,” said Jay Rizzo, vice president sales and business development at Constant Aviation.
“By working with the highly skilled technical team at Constant Aviation, we can secure a convenient slot for this required upgrade, at a preferred rate, well before the deadline,” said Donald Ridge, manager, program development for JSSI. “It also means we can offer our clients relief from this out-of-pocket expense by rolling it into their existing airframe hourly maintenance program.”
“Constant has developed ADS-B solutions for over 45 aircraft make and models,” said Jay Rizzo, vice president sales and business development at Constant Aviation. “We can also schedule any additional maintenance that may be needed at the same time to minimize downtime and reduce overall costs. With only 35 months remaining to complete this mandatory upgrade, the stats show that equals 167 aircraft being upgraded per month to meet the 2020 deadline.”
