Lufthansa Technik and DC Aviation Group recently performed their first A-check on a narrow-body aircraft at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, UAE. The A319 belongs to a customer in the region. The work was performed at the facility of DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, a joint venture between DC Aviation and the Al-Futtaim Group.
The workscope – about 350 hours – included checking all systems relevant for flight safety, exchanging several components, completing service bulletins and testing the ram air turbine.
The cooperation agreement covers services including regular checks, maintenance services including unplanned repairs and small cabin modifications. There are plans for a mobile aircraft and cabin service to serve the region. The offer is rounded off with extensive FBO services, aircraft management and business jet charters.
