Lufthansa Technik has signed a cooperation agreement with DC Aviation Group, a business jet operator headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. The companies plan to offer a package of services at DC Aviation Al-Futtaim’s hangars and VIP facilities at Al Maktoum International Airport in the UAE. DC Aviation Al-Futtaim is a joint venture between DC Aviation and the Al-Futtaim Group.
Services will include regular checks; maintenance work including unplanned repairs; and cabin services including small modifications. A mobile aircraft and cabin service is planned to serve the region. The companies will also offer FBO, aircraft management and business jet charter services. A 5,700m² hangar will accommodate business jets up to the size of an A320 or B737.
