Lufthansa Technik is opening a warehouse for component supply at London Heathrow Airport in the UK. The facility will operate around the clock, 365 days a year. Lufthansa Technik says the move will enable equipment to be delivered airside to any airport in the UK in just a few hours.
Initially, the site will encompass components for virtually all systems in the A320 family and A330 ranges. Lufthansa Technik will work to expand the equipment portfolio for other aircraft models.
