Following the departure of Frank Walschot to HNA Group, Jean-Marc Lenz (left) has taken over as chief operating officer and accountable manager at SR Technics. In addition, Michael Sattler (below, right) is now the company’s chief commercial officer.
Lenz joined SR Technics in 1985 as an aircraft maintenance technician, and has held roles including head of line maintenance, head of aircraft services, and head of engine services. He has an industrial engineering degree from the MTM in Berne, and a master’s degree from ASM Kaderschule in Winterthur.
Sattler has more than 25 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and repair. He served in the German Air Force and NATO for more than 10 years, later holding senior leadership positions at companies including RUAG Aviation and Jet Aviation. He joined SR Technics in 2015. He studied at Universität der Bundeswehr Neubiberg, Germany, where he gained a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering.
