Spirit Aeronautics has appointed John Becan to the post of production supervisor over the maintenance, avionics and interior production teams.

John certainly qualifies with over 40 years in the aviation industry, including 28 years in a production management role, in some of the most demanding environments possible.”
Becan began his aviation career in the US Air Force and has held positions such as manager of operations, manager of sheet metal and systems and sheet metal manager at companies including Gulfstream Aerospace (formerly KC Aviation), Associated Air Center and Comlux America. Becan studied aeronautics/A&P mechanics at Skyline Career Development Center, advanced management at Ivy Tech Corporate College and has been trained in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
