West Star Aviation has appointed a new technical sales manager for the Challenger/Global platforms at its facility in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Miller has more than 25 years of aviation experience, previously working at StandardAero, Textron, Western Aircraft and West Star. Miller restores and flies antique aircraft, including a 1942 450hp Boeing Strearman and a 1946 Aeronca 7AC. He provides scenic rides and performs aerobatics via his personal Vintage Aviation business.
“We are glad that Randy is joining West Star again, his wealth of knowledge and expertise will provide added value to the team here,” said Jerry Sheetz, manager of technical sales at the Grand Junction site.

West Star Aviation specialises in the repair and maintenance of airframes, engines and APUs, avionics installations and repair, major modifications, interior refurbishment, exterior paint, accessory services and parts.
In addition to the Grand Junction site, West Star’s three other primary facilities are in East Alton (Illinois), Chattanooga (Tennessee) and Perryville (Missouri). The company also maintains satellite facilities in Aspen and Denver (Colorado), Chicago (Illinois), Houston (Texas) and Minneapolis (Minnesota). Additionally the company provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its East Alton and Grand Junction facilities.
