Scott Sweeney has joined Constant Aviation as vice president, operations, for its MRO sites in Birmingham, Alabama, and Las Vegas, Nevada, in the USA. Sweeney has more than 30 years of experience in maintenance operations, sales and customer relations.
After serving in the US Navy, Sweeney began his aviation career as an avionics installer. He spent most of his career working for Raytheon Aircraft Services/Hawker Beechcraft Services. During that time, he served as supervisor, technical sales representative, program manager, principal sales manager, vice president of customer relations and general manager.
In 2014, Sweeney left to assume the role of vice president and general manager of a start-up MRO in Subic Bay, Philippines. He was responsible for establishing all components of the business, including profit and loss activities for three companies under the Aviation Concept group of companies.
