Ruag MRO International has completed a breadth of avionics and cabin interior upgrades on a Bombardier Challenger 604 at its aircraft MRO facility in Munich-Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
The completion of the project ensures the aircraft complies with the demands of EASA’s ADS-B Out mandate 2020, effective from 7 June 2020. Ruag’s in-house engineering and cabin interior shops ensured the project was completed on time and to the customer’s specifications. In addition to the integration of ADS-B Out avionics on the flight deck, the engineering team finished a minor modification and replaced ageing LED lighting.
“Aircraft availability for continuous and profitable operations is a priority for our customers,” said Christian Karl, head of sales for business jets at Ruag MRO International. “We’re keen to ensure their aircraft are equipped and ready for a smooth transition on the EASA mandate 2020 target date. Our one-stop shop approach to aircraft services combines with our team’s expertise in Bombardier business aircraft to provide our business jet community with reliable support and the benefits of optimised downtimes.”
