TAG Aviation has appointed Christof Späth as CEO of TAG Aviation Europe, effective 12 January 2015. Späth succeeds Rob Wells, who had long planned to return to the USA at the end of 2014. Wells will remain as an adviser to the company’s board of directors and a board member of TAG Aviation Asia.
Späth’s aviation industry experience includes senior management roles at SR Technics, Jet Aviation, Ruag Aerospace, General Electric and BMW Rolls-Royce. As CEO, Späth will assume the executive responsibility and the overall leadership role for TAG Aviation Europe’s business units, and will be based at the company’s head office in Geneva, Switzerland.
TAG Aviation Europe’s business aviation services include aircraft management, charter, maintenance, FBO/handling and crew training.
