Having received certification, Bongiovi Aviation’s speaker-less audio and public address (PA) system is now available as a standard option on the Cessna Citation Latitude midsize jet and Cessna Citation Longitude super-midsize jet.
The speaker-less audio solution is designed to create an immersive sound experience in aircraft cabins. Bongiovi says its patented Digital Power Station (DPS) sound processing (which re-masters audio in real time) and patented transducer system deliver sound at recording studio quality, even in high-noise environments.
The speaker-less PA system is an independent transducer-based system that employs DPS technology’ to deliver high voice intelligibility. The company notes this system has never before been used in an aircraft PA system, and that voice communication from the cockpit can be heard precisely throughout the cabin regardless of the noise threshold.
