Hilitech has earned EN 9100:2018 certification following a rigorous audit held in May and June 2020. The company is a joint venture between F/List and Hintsteiner Group, a carbon composite specialist, and focuses on creating lightweight components and cabin systems used in private and business aircraft.
“The introduction of the industry standard enables us to continuously scrutinise our processes and quality, improving the company’s performance at all levels,” said Manfred Nagl, CEO of Hilitech. Continuous improvement is what will lead our company robustly into the future.”
The company also provides in-house training. In September 2020, two new apprentices will start model-building apprenticeships at Hilitech. They will reinforce a team that currently consists of 25 employees, including three apprentices.
Hilitech says that compared with conventional production processes, its fibre composite components achieve weight reductions of up to 25% and thereby enable new design possibilities and spatial concepts. Hilitech components are finished with high-quality veneers, real stone, paintwork and upholstery at F/List.
