A USA-based company specialising in noise and vibration control solutions, Damping Technologies Inc (DTI), is introducing its products and services to the European market, and has hired Laurent Vacher as business development manager, to grow the business in the region.
DTI has designed, developed and manufactured noise and vibration control solutions since 1989. Many models of new-production Gulfstream, Textron and Boeing aircraft incorporate DTI technology to reduce cabin noise.
“For a company that specialises in keeping things quiet, we decided it was time to make some noise in Europe,” said Adam Parin, president and CEO of DTI. “Our products, quality and on-time delivery have a track record of excellent performance on a wide variety of aircraft, and we’re confident that there is a market for us here among both manufacturers and completion centres.”
Based in Toulouse, France, Vacher specialises in marketing products to the aerospace industry. DTI also participated in its first two European trade shows, EBACE in Geneva, Switzerland, and Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, to help solidify its European presence.
“Laurent has a strong background in aviation, and his skills are perfectly suited to helping us identify opportunities and offer solutions,” added Parin. “We’re excited to introduce our products to Europe and to welcome new clients to the DTI family.”
