Galley Support Innovations (GSI) will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 2, 2015, to celebrate the expansion of its facility in Sherwood, Arkansas, USA. The ceremony will include announcements involving several new multimillion-dollar aerospace contracts.
The expansion provides an additional 21,200ft² of space for manufacturing, new shipping and receiving areas, executive offices and a new parking pad. It encompasses the purchase of adjoining property. The company’s existing facilities were remodeled at the same time.
Financing for the project was provided by Arkansas Capital Corporation and Centennial Bank, with construction by Fredrickson Construction and Wood Work Construction. A recent grant awarded from the State of Arkansas has provided further funding for additional equipment and personnel.
