December 5, 2016 – OEM loudspeaker manufacturer, Misco has announced that it has completed its acquisition of the Oaktron speaker division of Mitek. As a result, Oaktron will relocate from its Monroe, Wisconsin location to Minneapolis and will operate as a wholly owned division of Misco.
Commenting on the acquisition, Misco CEO Dan Digre noted, “Both Misco and Oaktron have served the North American OEM markets for decades. Following our acquisition of Warkwyn Acoustical Labs, this deal further advances our strategy of investing in US loudspeaker and audio system design, manufacturing and testing technologies.”
