The Gulfstream G500 on static display at NBAA-BACE, held in Las Vegas on October 10-12, 2017, features an up-lit crystal glass rack holder created by MSB Design. The rack is made from aerospace-grade, transparent polycarbonate and plated components. In a first for an MSB insert or glass rack, it features low-voltage LED uplighting. The standard product is available as a line-fit option on the G500 and G600, and customized variants will also be available.
“Galleys have traditionally been the domain of the flight attendant, and are not often given as much thought to in terms of design, as the passenger areas of the cabin,” said Shannon Gill, business development director at MSB. “However, we are seeing more OEMs and completion centers paying attention to the ambience in this area. We have created this very special unit on behalf of Gulfstream, but anticipate that we will see an increased demand for similar products from other customers over time.”
MSB china and flatware insert options are already available for the G650, G500 and G600, and the company’s conference tables are available for the G500 and G600.
