Two STG Aerospace products – saf-Tglo SSUL-X11 and The STG Curve flexible light – have been shortlisted for this year’s Crystal Cabin Awards. STG Aerospace is an emergency exit and cabin lighting systems specialist.
Launched at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2022, saf-Tglo SSUL-X11 is a photoluminescent FPM designed to be narrow and light, at 11mm wide, to open up the look of a cabin.
Awaiting its launch at AIX 2023, The STG Curve is the first product from STG’s Universal Lighting LED Family. It is designed to provide section addressable output, within a small footprint and a tight bend radius. Whether for a business-class seat, an economy-class lavatory, a large galley or a business aviation cabin, The Curve can be used throughout the aircraft. It has already been selected for a wide-body application.
The Crystal Cabin Awards highlight excellence in aircraft interior innovation. The winners will be announced in June.
“It’s fantastic to be shortlisted for the Crystal Cabin Awards,” said Pierre Michard, sales and programmes director at STG. “They are the pinnacle of excellence and the Oscars of the aerospace interiors world. We are proud to be providing our customers with expertly crafted lighting design solutions. We never stop innovating, and we are excited to continue expanding our offering with customer experience at the forefront of everything we do.”
