Aero Experts of Toulouse, France – the design and engineering unit of The Aero Experts Group – has been awarded a Design Organisation Approval (DOA) certificate from EASA, following a 12-month audit. The certificate allows the company to approve minor aircraft modifications independently. Aero Experts says the certificate will also enable it to speed up the STC certification process for any cabin-related modifications on small and large aircraft, including satcom antenna installations, in accordance with airworthiness regulatory requirements.
The Aero Experts Group specializes in aircraft interior modifications, providing industrial design, engineering, manufacturing and completion services through business units located in Toulouse; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Miami, USA; and Hong Kong, China. Among its customers are aircraft owners and equipment and aircraft manufacturers including Airbus, Embraer and Zodiac.
