EASA has granted Part 145 approval to F/List Germany’s upholstery facility in Erfurt, Germany, enabling it to act as a repair station. The facility can now offer a qualified maintenance service for upholstery work on business aircraft.
The company said that in 2020, its business aviation aftermarket division saw an increase in refurbishment requests. This made the division one of the fastest growing and increasingly important strategic business areas for the group internationally.
F/List Germany only took over ACC Columbia’s Erfurt upholstery facility in February 2021. The acquisition has expanded F/List’s capacities and its service network in the EMEA region, on a long-term basis.
The EASA Part 145 approval means that the process of integrating the new site under the management of F/List Germany is now complete, and it is fully operational.
“We are very pleased to have obtained EASA approval for our upholstery facility in Erfurt,” said Ulrich Gehling, CEO of F/List Germany. “The certification shows that F/List Germany meets all EASA requirements at our new facility and that we’re able to offer our customers the high-quality services they have come to expect from us.”
F/List Germany, headquartered at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, offers refurbishment services for private and corporate aircraft to customers throughout Europe and the Middle East. It is a subsidiary of F/List, which is a worldwide provider of interiors for business jets, yachts and residences, with around 900 employees at eight locations in Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.
