Robinson Aerospace can now offer full completion and MRO services at its facility in Ft Worth, having gained its Part 145 Air Agency Certificate on August 31, 2018. The certificate grants limited airframe and powerplant ratings.
The company moved to the facility at Alliance Airport in 2017, looking to expand. “But without the 145 certificate, we were still limited in the services we could offer our customers,” said Ronnie Hudson, general manager at the company. Now the company’s services include green and retrofit completion, MRO, upholstery, veneer replacement and cockpit refreshes.
“Receipt of our 145 certificate is quite significant,” said Hudson. “It effectively now places both Robinson Aerospace and Robinson Aircraft Interiors squarely on the US and global stage, as a full range completion and MRO jet center.”
The facility covers more than 217,000ft² (20,160m²) and features climate-controlled hangars, integrated back shops, offices, conference suites and design showrooms.
“Our current hangars predominately accommodate business jets, with 14 available bays for top tier jets like the Global Express, Challenger 604, Falcon 7X, etc., with all the required on-site support shops and expertise to handle everything from a simple maintenance check or interior refresh to full interior retrofits and major MRO services,” said Mark Robinson, vice president of operations.
Robinson will once again exhibit at NBAA-BACE, to be held on October 16-18, in Orlando, Florida. It will have a newly designed booth and company brochure, and the company’s principals and executive personnel will be on hand.
