Jets MRO – a jet maintenance business founded in 2024 at Dallas Executive Airport (RBD) in Texas – has officially received its FAA Part-145 repair station certificate.
Jets MRO accomplished this new certification process with the FAA in 12 months. Jets MRO said that although it has been supporting scheduled maintenance already, this certification will continue to elevate the quality of its offering, including its capabilities.
The company has received full authorisation to work on Citation, Hawker, Learjet, Challenger 300 and 600 series and Beechjet aircraft. Although Jets MRO does have authority to work on other aircraft models, it has a special focus on certain jet platforms, in line with the team’s experience and expertise.
The company gave special thanks to Textron Aviation and Bombardier for “their continued support as we support their platforms of aircraft”.
Jets MRO also received specific authority to work off-site to support urgent aircraft needs and line maintenance in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, on all business jet platforms, with its mobile maintenance vehicles and team.
This certification comes months after Jets MRO moved into a brand-new 40,000ft² maintenance facility built specifically for heavy aircraft maintenance. Other recent milestones including passing 100 aircraft projects, operating seven days a week, and acquiring other maintenance businesses.
