The Cirrus SR Series G7 and G2+ Vision Jet have achieved Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) certification.
“Pursuing TCCA certification for the newest Cirrus aircraft models, the SR Series G7 and G2+ Vision Jet, underscores our commitment to the Canadian market,” said Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus. “This certification enables Canadian Cirrus aircraft owners to take delivery of their new Canadian-registered aircraft, further solidifying our presence in the region.”
Cirrus has delivered more than 10,000 SR Series single-engine piston aircraft, and nearly 600 Vision Jets globally.
The SR Series G7 aircraft now incorporates the Vision Jet flight deck, featuring Garmin’s Perspective Touch+ avionics. Additionally, the G7 offers increased legroom and enhanced convenience features, complemented by the Cirrus IQ mobile app, which provides real-time updates on aircraft health and readiness.
Cirrus said the G2+ Vision Jet features optimised engine performance; improved take-off performance; inflight wi-fi; and bold colourways. Cirrus recently added Auto Radar and Cirrus IQ to provide pilots with increased situational awareness and connectivity during all stages of pre-flight and inflight activities. The G2+ Vision Jet offers technologies including Autothrottle, Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), Safe Return Emergency Autoland and the Perspective Touch+ by Garmin flight deck. Additionally, the Vision Jet can use sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
