Business Jet Interiors International’s Hygiene Innovation For Business Jet Cabins webinar, which was held on 9 March 2021, is now available to view for those who missed the live event, or for those who want to rewatch it. To register to view the recording, please click here.
The free-to-attend event featured a lively and far-reaching discussion with experts Jay Beever, vice president of Embraer Design Operations; Daron Dryer, CEO of Comlux Completion; Debi Cunningham, vice president of marketing at West Star Aviation; and Judy Miller, aircraft interior designer at Judy Miller Design.
The conversation was hosted by Izzy Kington, editor of Business Jet Interiors International, and Matthew Nicholls, sales director at Tapis.
“I’m thrilled with how the event went and the wonderful feedback we’ve had since,” said Kington. “I was particularly pleased with the great attendance, which remained steady right through to the end, despite us running over. I think this is testament not only to the appetite for cross-industry discussion on this topic, but to the wonderful panellists. They clearly have so much knowledge and so many insights to share, that we could have kept talking all day! I’d like to extend my great thanks to them, along with everyone who tuned in, and our co-organiser, Tapis.”
The panellists shared their experiences of the initial impacts and challenges of the pandemic, discussed some of the cabin solutions on offer or proposed for the market, and looked ahead at some of the possible long-term impacts for cabin design. They also fielded some great questions posed by the audience.
Along the way, the discussion took in everything from material cleanability and longevity to new ways of working with clients, antimicrobial and biocidal materials, surface barrier solutions, cabin air and ionisation systems, UV lighting, colour theory, minimising cabin touchpoints, sustainability, easy-to-clean designs and much more.
Following the success of Business Jet Interiors International’s first webinar, the publisher plans to co-create further digital events of great value to its readers. In addition, the brand’s first podcast will be available very soon. To discuss partnership opportunities, please contact Simon Hughes.
