ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China (ExecuJet Haite) and Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management (CBM) have officially opened a new purpose-built MRO and newly established FBO international channel respectively at Beijing Daxing International Airport in China. ExecuJet Haite’s new purpose-built MRO facility will soon be fully certified, joining CBM’s new purpose-built FBO facility, now featuring an international channel.
Beijing Daxing International Airport is the newest international gateway to China and the region. It features 400,000m² of space allocated for business aviation; this includes a 300,000m² airport apron for aircraft parking, loading and unloading, refuelling and boarding.
ExecuJet Haite’s new MRO facility at Daxing is 7,150m², including a 5,000m² air-conditioned and heated hangar, as well as modern office space and extensive backshops. The hangar can accommodate eight mid- to large-size business jets simultaneously. The MRO facility offers line, AOG support and heavy maintenance services for various aircraft types from manufacturers including Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer and Gulfstream.
The new facility is more than double the size of ExecuJet Haite’s 2,700m² MRO facility at Tianjin’s Binhai International Airport. The two MRO facilities complement each other.
CBM’s FBO, meanwhile, is spread across three levels and includes 12 VIP rooms. The building has a dedicated channel for business jet travellers flying domestically, another channel for international travel, and a third channel for VVIPs. The FBO has 85 aircraft parking spaces including undercover parking space, as the FBO has five hangars dedicated for parking. The hangars and parking apron can accommodate both ACJ and BBJ single-aisle aircraft.
To celebrate the official opening of the new MRO and FBO facility in Daxing, ExecuJet MRO Services and CBM jointly held a grand opening ceremony.
ExecuJet Haite’s general manager, Paul Desgrosseilliers, said: “We have been operating for nearly 15 years in China and are excited to now have a first-class MRO facility here at Beijing Daxing International Airport, one of the main international getaways to China and the region.”
“The infrastructure at Beijing Daxing International Airport is second to none and is an attractive proposition for business jet operators because of features such as streamlined security, customer-focused amenities, easy ramp access, and state-of-the-art hangar facilities,” continued Desgrosseilliers. “We are delighted to immediately start supporting business aircraft and be working with CBM to create a world-class business aviation hub.”
Li Yiyong, general manager of CBM, said: “The opening of the international channel of the Daxing business jet terminal provides a convenient and efficient new channel for international business passengers to enter and exit Daxing Airport. It’s of great significance for improving access of Daxing Airport, and promoting business cooperation as well as economic and trade development in Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin.”
