The team at Duncan Aviation’s satellite shop in Houston, Texas, has relocated to a newly built hangar at Wilson Air Center, located at William P. Hobby International Airport.
“This new hangar gives our team at the Houston satellite three times the space and twice the hangar door height as our previous space,” said Matt Nelson, manager of Duncan Aviation’s satellite operations. “This means we can bring customers’ aircraft inside the hangar, and we can work on everything up to a Gulfstream G650 in there now.”
Since part of the team moved earlier in 2020, the team has been divided between the old hangar and the new. This new space not only reunites the entire team in one facility, but also provides ramp access for customers at the airport.
“The Houston satellite shop is Duncan Aviation’s oldest satellite, having been the first established in the area in 1985,” said Nelson. “The team, which has grown in both size and technical capability since then, is excited to be more accessible to our customers.”
