West Star Aviation announced the opening of its Chattanooga, Tennessee (CHA) facility expansion. An open house was celebrated on 19 July by local community leaders and West Star staff.
This is the first of the company’s major expansion projects, with additional expansions to follow at its sites in East Alton, Illinois; and Grand Junction, Colorado.
The expansion, which took about a year to complete, offers an additional 57,000ft² of hangar, shop and support space, bringing the footprint of the facility to 262,816ft². The company now operates from five hangars at the site. The expansion includes a dedicated Gulfstream hangar, additional finish and upholstery modification support, and a customer design centre.
