On Air Dining and Gama Aviation will deliver live culinary demonstrations at EBACE 2015, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 19-21. Signature dishes from the On Air Dining seasonal menu will be demonstrated twice a day throughout the show at Gama Aviation’s booth. Daniel Hulme (left), CEO of On Air Dining, and Colin Barnett, executive chef at On Air Dining, will lead the half-hour culinary demonstrations at 11am and 2pm each day.
“We anticipate that flight attendants, business jet operators, corporate flight departments and aircraft brokers looking to enhance their inflight dining provision will be interested in attending the sessions,” said Hulme. “On Air Dining has worked with Gama Aviation for some time. Its presence on the Gama Aviation booth perfectly reflects the interactive nature of the business.”
“We have been looking for some time at innovative ways to demonstrate our service standards at these shows,” said Duncan Daines, chief marketing officer at Gama Aviation. “This presents the perfect opportunity to showcase the quality of one of our exceptional partners and how they assist us in delivering ‘the Gama Way’ inflight.”
The culinary team will showcase the food plating system and modern styling for which On Air Dining is known. Two starters, two main courses and two desserts will be showcased. On Air Dining’s chefs will also provide tastings of a number of its more select ingredients – including cured venison, smoked beef, smoked salmon and handcrafted British cheeses.
In 2014, On Air Dining relocated to new 4,000ft² headquarters in the Diamond Hangar at Stansted Airport, UK. Hulme has served as vice chairman of the European Corporate Aviation Flight Attendants Committee, endorsed by NBAA/EBAA, for two years.
