Avant Aerospace is now an authorised reseller for the AdonisOne portable IFE system. The company says the self-contained, portable unit – which only requires wi-fi to operate – provides a lower cost way for operators to upgrade their aircraft.
The unit can be implemented without installation costs, aircraft downtime, internet charges or associated maintenance fees. It also provides a GPS-based moving map system entailing no extra fees or data consumption.
“The cost of upgrading an aircraft’s cabin can be significant, specifically for how quickly technology changes, and this small, portable unit can provide a top-quality IFE option instantly at a fraction of the installed price,” said John Hardy, director at Avant Aerospace.
