Alto Aviation, marking its 25th anniversary in business aviation, is celebrating several milestones. Its Alto Cabin Audio Systems are flying with more than 5,000 business aircraft; and there have been more than 450 Cadence Switch Panel aftermarket installations to date.
Alto is also celebrating more than 650 Alto Bluetooth Audio receiver and transmitter aftermarket installations. Both solutions have been installed by MROs worldwide in business jets and private helicopters including Bombardier Global Express, Citation, Falcon, Boeing, Learjet and Gulfstream aircraft.
Cadence Switch Panels are Alto Aviation’s direct-replacement, customisable cabin passenger controls that allow functionality through discrete logic and no software, minimising or eliminating woodwork by defining bezels that fit into the existing holes, to reduce installation costs.
The foundations of Cadence are modular, discrete switch assemblies. The modules range from one to six positions, including USB charging, HDMI port, Bluetooth audio interface and ordinance signage. Cadence is compatible with the aircraft’s existing CMS and IFE system. Additionally, by defining a bezel that fits into an existing cut-out, Alto provides a CMS/IFE upgrade solution without changing the woodwork.
All installations were customised to replace obsolete, non-serviceable or broken passenger controls, as well as for new installations, repurposing functionality, and updating each aircraft’s CMS capabilities.
