Astronics’ acquisition of substantially all the assets of Telefonix and Product Development Technologies (Telefonix PDT) has completed. The transaction involved a cash payment of around US$104m.
Telefonix PDT has facilities in Waukegan and Lake Zurich, Illinois. It makes IFEC equipment including wireless access points, file servers, PCUs, content loaders and cord reels, as well as providing design consultancy services.
Telefonix PDT is anticipated by Astronics to contribute revenue of around US$70-75m in 2018.
