Astronics Connectivity Systems and Certification (Astronics CSC) and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO Group) are setting up a line replaceable unit (LRU) service center serving China and Asia Pacific. The facility, established by HAECO Group subsidiary HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen), will offer testing, maintenance and repairs for Summit inflight connectivity LRUs.
“As our Summit line of IFEC products experiences increasing demand in the Asia-Pacific and China markets, we sought a partnership to enable a regional component service and repair center to deliver localized support for these customers,” said Michael Kuehn, president of Astronics CSC. “We’re happy to announce the appointment of HAECO and look forward to continuing to strengthen this relationship.”
