Pentastar Aviation will unveil its wireless charging solution for business aircraft cabins, in partnership with Cobalt Aerospace, during NBAA 2016, to be held on November 1-3, 2016, in Orlando, Florida.
The Cobalt wireless charging unit accepts aircraft power and provides contained wireless charging, eliminating the need for cords and adapters. The unit is designed to offer a light weight and enable seamless integration into virtually any aircraft cabin. Clients can see a demonstration and model of the Cobalt charging units integrated into a business aircraft drink rail at Pentastar’s booth at the show.
In addition, aircraft owners can learn more about SmartSky Networks 4G connectivity system for which Pentastar Aviation will develop STCs, for the Gulfstream G450 and G550 aircraft. The company was named a SmartSky partner for hardware sales and installations on other corporate aircraft earlier in 2016. Sales personnel will be on-site at the show for those who would like to take advantage of the pricing incentives available for Pentastar’s first SmartSky 4G installations on G350/G450 and the G500/G550 aircraft. Pentastar is offering this incentive on top of the early bird incentives offered by SmartSky to sign up for the 4G hardware and service.
“Our clients increasingly expect the same level of connectivity in flight as they experience on the ground and are eager for the latest technology,” said Doug Levangie, vice president of maintenance operations and advisory services at Pentastar Aviation.
“Pentastar is committed to offering solutions that will provide a true office-in-the-sky environment and has partnered with Cobalt Aerospace and SmartSky to enable us to provide inflight connectivity solutions.”
